Cambodia registers 36 new COVID-19 cases, tally at 1,541

Cambodia on Thursday confirmed 36 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 1,541, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement.

The new infections included 35 locally transmitted cases in southern Kandal province and capital Phnom Penh, and one imported case, the statement said.

The imported case was detected on a 53-year-old Filipino woman traveling to the kingdom on March 3 from the Philippines, it said, adding that she was found positive for the virus in her second test, on the 14th day of quarantine.
