Authorities in Cambodia on Tuesday began preparing to get kids back to schools that will reopen next week with limited-capacity classes after staying shut for months as the country has succeeded in keeping the Covid-19 situation under control with a total of 274 cases and no fatality.
The Cambodian Ministry of Education said in a statement that each classroom would have a maximum of 20 students and measures would be implemented to maintain a safe distance of at least two meters between in the schools scheduled to reopen on Sep.7.
All educational institutes in the East Asian country were closed in mid-March.
