Cambodia confirmed one new imported case of COVID-19 on Friday, raising the total number of infections in the kingdom to 278, said a Ministry of Health (MoH)’s press statement.
The latest case was found on a 33-year-old Cambodian woman, who arrived in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, on Sept. 16 from the United States, with a connecting flight in China’s Taiwan, the statement said.
The woman was first allowed to quarantine for 14 days at her home in northwest Battambang provincial after testing negative for the COVID-19 upon her arrival, it said.
