Several female police officers filed a complaint with the Interior Ministry alleging sexual harassment by Kampung Thom provincial police chief Major-General Ouk Kosal.
Reports in the Khmer Times said the female provincial police officers appealed to Interior Minister Sar Kheng to help them seek justice and take action against Kosal.
The complaints allege that Kosal had approached female police officers from different ranks and demanded sexual favours. He allegedly warned them that they would face serious consequences if they told anyone about it.
