Tourism Ministry spokesman Top Sopheak said four restaurants in the capital Phnom Penh and two others in the northern city of Siem Reap were closed by Dec. 22 in line with the U.N. Security Council resolution requiring member states to repatriate North Koreans earning money overseas.
Also shuttered was a North Korean-built panorama museum in Siem Reap, near the iconic Angkor Wat temple complex, which had opened to the public in 2015 and was staffed by North Koreans.
