Cambodia celebrates 100-day countdown towards 32nd SEA Games

Cambodia on Wednesday (Jan 26) celebrated the 100-day countdown to the 32nd South-East Asian (SEA) Games, with a fireworks display, a drumbeat, martial arts performance, songs and dance.

Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Tea Banh, who is also the chairman of the Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (Camsoc), said the countdown affirmed the kingdom’s readiness to welcome all athletes, sports officials, and visitors to the 32nd SEA Games.

“With just 100 days to go, Cambodia will mark its sports legacy and fulfill its dream by hosting the SEA Games for the first time in 64 years,” he said at the event held at the Morodok Techo National Stadium on the capital’s northern suburb.
