Bruce Chim: Rising from the horrors of genocide to being named the first Tri-County Hero

Royse City American Legion Post 100 celebrated its inaugural Tri-County Hero Award ceremony over the weekend, naming Bruce Chim as the first recipient of the recognition.

The award was conceived as a recognition that the organization can give out to first responders, military service members and veterans in the area who make an impact on their community.
