Bransholme couple trapped in Cambodia with ‘no hope’ of getting back to UK

Flights home will cost them thousands of pounds and their prescription medication is running out.

A Bransholme couple trapped in Cambodia have said they feel “no hope” of getting back to the UK.

Corrine Hall-Burnett and her partner, Lee Robinson, travelled to Cambodia for a holiday on March 10, two weeks before the UK’s coronavirus lockdown began, and had been due to fly home on March 26.

But their flight was cancelled just hours before they were expecting to fly, leaving them stranded in South-East Asia with no idea how to get home.
