Authorities in Cambodia have uncovered nearly 2,000 illegal gambling operations in the Phnom Penh and Kandal provinces since a nationwide crackdown started 12 days ago.
The raids have resulted in the arrest of 152 people from 87 sites in the capital alone.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said that following his crackdown order, about 700 gambling operations in Kandal province and a further 1,000 sites in Phnom Penh were identified by authorities.
