After Cambodia’s general election, disruption to critical garment sector unlikely unless EU suspends preferential trade access

On 30 July, Cambodia’s National Election Commission (NEC) stated the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) had won 123 of 125 parliamentary seats and 77.5% of votes in last week’s general election, in which there was no significant opposition.
