Washington, D.C – Cambodia’s election body will register about 500,000 voters starting next month.
According to a statement from the National Election Committee (NEC), since the last voter registration period, ahead of controversial national elections in July, some half a million Cambodians have turned 18 and become eligible to vote.
The NEC added that it would also remove those who had been reported deceased in the same period and an additional 100,000 names.
