The Colombian men will spend the rest of their lives in jail for importing 20kg of cocaine from Brazil to Cambodia via a courier company in 2017.
The Phnom Penh Municipal Court sentenced the duo to life imprisonment under Article 40 of the Law on Drug Control for “keeping, transport or illicit traffic of narcotic substances”.
Presiding judge Seng Leang identified them as Quevedo Pinzonfelix Rodrigo, 54, a cloth merchant and Giraldo Marulandajuan Carlos, 47, a tourist.
