Australia turned its back on one of our finest citizens — respected journalist and documentary maker James Ricketson — when he needed us most.
And fingers are now squarely pointed at outgoing foreign minister Julie Bishop, saying she could’ve done much more.
Ricketson was yesterday served a six-year sentence after being found guilty of “espionage”.
