For Cambodians, it’s the start of a new year.
Long Beach’s Cambodian community celebrated its new year, which was officially April 14 to 16, with a celebration Saturday, April 27, at El Dorado Park. The annual Cambodian New Year Celebration included traditional games and dances, live music and a Buddhist ceremony, though the parade was canceled because of lack of funding.
