Catholic missionary praises Cambodia’s response to COVID-19

Head of one apostolic prefecture says pandemic has helped Catholics find creative ways to deepen their faith.

Father Bruno Cosme has spent most of his nearly 26 years as a priest in Cambodia.

He first went to the Southeast Asian nation in 1995, the year after completing his studies in Rome and being ordained for the Parisian Society of Foreign Missions (MEP).

As well as doing parish ministry there, he spent several years as rector of the Saint Jean-Marie Vianney Major Seminary in the capital Phnom Penh.
