While other Australians clamoured to flee Cambodia, one man has chosen to use his experience working against Ebola in Africa to protect his family from COVID-19 and economic hardship.
Fourteen months ago Warren Fryer moved with his family from Broome in WA, where he was a builder and business owner, to Cambodia.
His wife Emily had taken up a teaching position at an international school in the capital, Phnom Penh, while Mr Fryer focused on settling their three children — aged 10, eight and six — into their new lives.
