A Dutch man was quarantined at the Preah Sihanouk provincial referral hospital this week after arriving on a cruise ship with a high fever.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said on Tuesday that a blood sample had been sent to the Pasteur Institute in Phnom Penh to test for coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Health Ministry spokesman Ly Sovann said the tests came back negative, according to the Khmer Times.
