Wales is about to receive a bumper load of PPE. It’s understood that a plane from Cambodia will be landing in Cardiff Airport today, laden with vital fluid-resistant gowns.
Gowns are in particularly short supply in the UK and in England doctors and nurses have been asked to treat patients without fully protective gowns due to short supply.
The plane from Phnom Penh, which is understood to contain 200,000 gowns, is expected to land in Cardiff to provide vital stocks for Wales.
