Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Thursday that there would not be any lockdowns to be imposed in the kingdom over the concerns about COVID-19 spread.
“In my status as the head of the government, I would like to confirm that there will be no any lockdowns of the country, the capital, or any provinces or areas,” he said in a post on his official Facebook page.
His remarks came after rumors have spread that the Cambodian government would lock down capital Phnom Penh and ban travels between provinces.
