Cambodia detects no new COVID-19 cases for 6 days straight, recovery rate at 84 per cent

Cambodia had found no new cases of COVID-19 infections in the last six days, while five more patients had recovered, raising the number of patients cured in the kingdom to 103, said a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement on Saturday.

The latest recovered patients are an American couple, a British man, a Canadian man and a Cambodian man, the statement said, adding that they were discharged from hospitals on Friday, China’s Xinhua news agency reported.

“The recovery rate for COVID-19 patients in Cambodia stands at 84.43 percent with 103 out of 122 COVID-19 infected persons cured,” MoH’s secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said in the statement.
