Australians stranded in Cambodia are running out of time to leave the country before a state of emergency is imposed in the South-East Asian nation, which could further hamper their efforts to get home.
Travellers have told AM they’ve burnt through thousands of dollars on airfares to return home, only to have their flights cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
At least 300 Australians in Cambodia have contacted the embassy there seeking help.
