Ministry bans poultry import from Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia

Oman – Following outbreak of bird flu in Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has banned the import of poultry and poultry products from the three countries.

The ministry said it has issued a ministerial decision on the prohibition of import of live birds (poultry) and its derivatives from Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia.
