Phnom Penh – Cambodian National Assembly’s President Samdech Heng Samrin on Friday praised the excellent ties and cooperation between Cambodia and China, a spokesman said.
The country’s top legislator made the remarks during a farewell meeting here with outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Bo, said Keo Piseth, a spokesman for Heng Samrin.
“As this year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Cambodia and China, Samdech Heng Samrin said he was very pleased to see ties and cooperation between the two countries reaching an all-time high in the history,” the spokesman told reporters after the meeting.
