Tourist arrivals to Cambodia down 76% in 10 months due to pandemic; Covid-19 cases rising

Cambodia had received 1.26 million foreign visitors during the first 10 months of 2020, down 76 per cent from 5.29 million over the same period last year, according to the latest report released by the Ministry of Tourism.

China, Thailand, and Vietnam were the largest sources of foreign travelers to the kingdom during the January-October period this year, the report said.

In October alone, Cambodia attracted only 20,210 foreign visitors, a 95.8 percent drop from 481,782 over the same month last year, the report said.
