Tourism Recovery Plan Connects Cambodia, Thailand

Cambodia and Thailand are teaming up for an effective tourism recovery plan. Both countries organised a bilateral tourism cooperation on September 2 to achieve the goal.

According to the Department of International Cooperation and ASEAN ministry director, Try Chhiv, both sides approved the action plan for tourism cooperation 2023 to 2025. The proposal comprises acceleration of travel and border crossings. It will also boost joined market research, human resource development, and quality tourism development. Likewise, it will uphold tourism investment opportunities for both ASEAN countries.

Chhiv said that both parties greatly value the fulfilment of the tourism recovery plan. He noted that Thailand commended the Cambodian government for enforcing effective steps to fight Covid-19. This in particular, is the launch of countrywide drive which ultimately facilitated the resurgence of socio-economic activities.
