The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has revised its 2020 growth forecast for Cambodia, predicting the country will fare better than previously expected.
The ADB now forecasts a 4 per cent contraction in Cambodia’s gross domestic project, compared to a contraction of 5.5 per cent, which was forecast in June, it said in a statement released by the bank.
The improved figure came on the back of improved agricultural performance and an increase in non-garment manufacturing exports, such as bicycles and electronics.
