Cambodia exported industrial products, including garment products, worth 11.18 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 14 percent, Cambodia’s state-run Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP) reported on Monday.
The report from the Ministry of Industry and Handicraft showed that the export of garment, footwear, and travel goods accounted for over 83 percent of the country’s total industrial product exports, or 9.32 billion U.S. dollars, up 11 percent compared to that of 2018.
The non-garment exports such as milled rice, white sugar, animal feed, bicycles, beer cans, beers, soft drinks, cigarettes, electronic appliances and so on were valued at 1.86 billion U.S. dollars, up 27 percent.
