The latest figures of the country’s Ministry of Commerce indicate an increasing number of exported regular bicycles. From January to September this year, Cambodia shipped a total of 1.5 million units. The Ministry of Commerce’s report did not reveal the exact export volume to the EU.
In the first half of this year, Cambodia exported 1.1 million regular bicycles of which more than half were shipped to the EU. In the third quarter this total export volume increased to 1.5 million units generating a total value of € 339 million. This was reported by the Khmer Times today.
