Cambodia stocks close 0.12 pct higher

Cambodia’s stocks finished higher on Friday, with the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) Index up 0.78 point, or 0.12 percent, to close at 660.33 points.

A total of 19,070 shares worth 166.2 million riels (40,692 U.S. dollars) were traded, the CSX said, adding that 48 percent of traded shares belonged to power technology provider Pestech Cambodia Plc (PEPC), 13 percent to Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS), and 29 percent to ACLEDA Bank Plc (ABC).

Among the seven trading stocks, the price of PEPC rose by 2.48 percent to 0.8 dollar and PAS increased by 0.29 percent to 3.43 dollars, as ABC remained stable at 4.23 dollars.
