Japan has been called on by Cambodia to increase its number of direct flights between the two countries in an effort to mutually boost tourism numbers.
Tourism Minister Thong Khon said they hoped to have more direct flights from Japanese cities to Phnom Penh and Siam Reap.
“Siam Reap province’s historical Angkor Archaeological Park has gained plenty of interest among Japanese tourists.
