The nation’s request for assistance was conveyed by its Transport Minister Sun Chanthol to his Japanese counterpart Nobuhide Minorikawa, who is the Minister for Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

It was made during last week’s 25th Asean Transport Ministers Meeting (ATM) and associated dialogue partners meetings in Vietnam.
