Cambodia joins regional peers in easing most COVID-19 border restrictions

Cambodia has announced the removal of almost all remaining COVID-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated international visitors as it looks to boost recovery for tourism and business.

With immediate effect, travelers who are full vaccinated will no longer need to obtain a negative virus test within 72 hours of departure, nor to take a PCR test upon arrival. Visitors are encouraged to take a test of their own accord, however.

“Now is the time to open up the economy by learning to live with COVID,” said Prime Minister Hun Sen in announcing the latest easing of restrictions.
