Cambodia earns 4.92 billion USD from tourism last year

Cambodia’s tourism revenue reached 4.92 billion USD in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 13 percent, according to the Ministry of Tourism’s report released on February 26.

Cambodia attracted 6.61 million international tourists in 2019, up 6.6 percent from the previous year, the report said.

China was the biggest source of tourists to Cambodia with 2.36 million Chinese visiting the Southeast Asian country, a year-on-year rise of 16.7 percent. It was followed by neighbouring Vietnam and Thailand.
