Cambodia asked to facilitate Vietnamese businesses’ operations

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the Cambodian National Assembly to adopt more legal regulations to incentivize and offer favourable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to operate in Cambodia.

At a reception for President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin in Hanoi on May 29, PM Phuc expressed his pleasure to welcome the top Cambodian legislator’s visit to Vietnam, which he believes, will achieve good results as a contribution to the continuous strengthening of the relationship of “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability” between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The Vietnamese Government leader urged the Cambodian NA to support the promotion of cooperation between the two countries across a variety of fields, aiming to lift the bilateral trade to more than US$5 billion by 2020.
