Cambodia approves 9 investment projects with investment of over $43 mn

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) recently approved nine investment projects with a total capital of more than $43 million and can create jobs for more than 10,000. The projects are in garments, bags and suitcases, cardboard and plastic items and PET materials. CDC issued investment project registration certificate to the companies.

Como Apparel will establish a garment factory in Ampil Village in Phnom Penh with an investment of $14.7 million. Leona (Cambodia) will set up a factory in Keo Udom village in Kampong Speu province to produce bags and suitcases with an investment of $5.8 million.

Sincere Season (Cambodia) Garment will establish a garment factory in Boeung Kaek village in Kandal province with an investment of $5.6 million. Powerful Riches Garment (Cambodia) will set up a garment factory in Phsar Dek Leu village in Kandal with an investment of $5 million, Cambodian media reported.
