ADB unveils new five-year strategy for Cambodia

Strategy seeks greener and more resilient future as country aims for high-income status by 2050.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has launched a new five-year country partnership strategy for Cambodia for 2024 to 2028.

Announced on May 29, the ADB says the strategy is closely aligned with the first phase of the Cambodian government’s Pentagonal Strategy launched last year which aims for a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient economy.

“Shaped in close collaboration with diverse stakeholders, ADB’s new country strategy is a partnership with Cambodia for its prosperity, its people, and the planet,” says Scott Morris, ADB’s vice-president for East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
